Scholarships

The Gordon Wiebe Post-Secondary Education Scholarships help make life dreams possible for local young adults who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service.

By offering support in the form of funding, we encourage high school students, current post-secondary students and prospective students to pursue advanced education.

This scholarship fund was created by the late Gordon Wiebe, a former pharmacist in Winkler, who gifted a significant portion of his estate to the Winkler Community Foundation, for the establishment of a scholarship fund.
